From soon after 8am on August 31st 2026 a steady stream of classic cars and motorcycles arrived at the Cricket Field in Ingleby Cross. This event is attracting more and more participants and visitors every year. Record takings at the gate, plus donations, sponsorship and the sale of refreshments brought in £9,474.84.
After expenses the takings were shared with the following:- the Village Hall, (for re-decoration costs and kitchen improvements; the children's charity - Zoe's Place; MacMIllan Cancer Research; Blood Bikes; Teesside Yesteryear Motor Club; the WI; and the Cricket Club. The forecast of rain clearly didn't deter visitors and luckily the weather remained dry until the end of the event. This Car and Motorcycle Show is now firmly established as an annual event in the calendar. The Village Hall Chairman, Ken Jones, thanks everyone who was involved both beforehand and on the day. It was a brilliant team effort!
